Johannesburg press event wrap-up

There’s always something happening somewhere, and it just so happens that one of today’s main events at here at Orange Business was a press event held in Johannesburg, South Africa. South Africa is home to more businesses than any other country in Africa, and more than 70% of the top African  companies have operations in the country.

Beyond South Africa, other countries are booming as well, including Ghana and Nigeria, and industries like banking, manufacturing, mining and energy are experiencing strong growth throughout Africa.  Consumers and businesses are demanding increasingly sophisticated services, including e-government and e-health.

Despite the challenges of maintaining high-quality communications for African businesses, we’re excited to be part of the growth taking place, and we’re working daily to bring our customers all the benefits that information communications technology has to offer.  For a snapshot of what Orange is doing in Africa and how more than 2,000 of our business services staff are helping our business clients in the region, take a look at the presentation below.
