Oetiker Group consolidates its global network with Orange Business

SAP deployment requires a stronger network to connect 1,200 employees in 21 countries

Orange Business has won a global wide area network (WAN) and embedded security services contract with Oetiker Group, a leading provider of clamping and connection solutions, headquartered in Horgen, Switzerland.

The Orange network will connect 1,200 Oetiker employees in 21 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Managed security services are a priority for Oetiker, so Orange Business is providing a Web protection suite with malware scanning and Zscaler, a Web filtering bundle, as part of the solution.

Oetiker Group is consolidating its worldwide WAN infrastructure from several providers and different technologies to the Orange network. With IT services centralized with Orange Business, Oetiker will benefit from a network built and managed by Orange Business with guaranteed service levels. In addition, Oetiker wanted a global service provider that can connect all 21 Oetiker locations worldwide to support its implementation of a centralized SAP ERP and CRM system.
