CISPE : RGPD/GDPR Compliance
CISPE (Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers Europe) Code of Conduct provides IaaS customers with explicit options to host their data exclusively within the European Economic Area. It is the first and only code to focus on the Infrastructure-as-a-Service sector and address the roles and responsibilities of IaaS providers. It ensures that declared services are GDPR-compliant, with data used solely for service provision and not for marketing or advertising, fostering trust and transparency.
The Cloud Avenue service is CISPE Code of Conduct compliant, demonstrating adherence with European data protection requirements.
ISO 27701 is another GDPR Acceptable Means of proof of Compliance (AMC/MAC). CISPE provides an alternative to this ISO standard, offering a tailored solution for compliance verification.
