Pöyry delivers engineering and management consulting services, underpinned by strong project implementation capabilities and expertise. Pöyry chose Orange Business Services as its strategic partner to support global network consolidation and modernization. Orange Business Services implemented and now manages a secure global communication infrastructure that enables Pöyry to utilize its global resources in a flexible way. With coverage in 220 countries and territories and local support in more than 160, Orange Business Services handles the worldwide implementation, management and support of communication services for Pöyry.
“Orange Business Services provides communications services that are key to our business strategy,” said Vesa Erolainen, CIO at Pöyry. “We wanted to collaborate with a telecommunications operator with its own global infrastructure, field operations staff and global tools and processes. Orange Business Services met all of our needs.”
By harmonizing its global communication infrastructure, Pöyry increased its operational efficiency and productivity. The solution is based on Orange Business VPN, a flexible, integrated platform that supports voice, data, video and all business applications via Orange’s MPLS-based private network.
“We are very pleased to count Pöyry in the list of industry leaders that Orange Business Services is serving globally in the oil, gas and mining sectors,” said Anne-Sophie Lotgering, senior vice president, Orange Business Services Europe, Russia & CIS. “Pöyry has benefited significantly from our solutions offered on a global scale. As the company has expanded into new markets, our consistent service presence has provided the global strength, services and support needed for Pöyry from Finland to capitalize on new business opportunities.”
