Orange named a Top Employer Global 2018 for 3rd consecutive year

Orange Business contributes 13 country certifications to global award

On the evening of Thursday 15th February, Orange was named as a Top Employer Global 2018 for the 3rd consecutive year at an awards event in Amsterdam. Orange is the only telecoms operator among the 13 companies in the world to achieve certification as a Top Employer Global 2018. In total, 30 countries were certified over five continents in which the Orange Group operates. Orange Business contributed to this global award with re-certifications in 13 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Mauritius, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States of America. These country awards also counted towards the Orange Group’s 2018 continental certifications as a Top Employer in Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe.

Each certification, awarded by the Top Employers Institute recognizes outstanding best practice in our business strategy, social responsibility, the role of human resources and our professional development, diversity, competency and talent management. They are a testament to the progress we have made to deliver upon commitments made within the Orange promise: being a digital and caring employer.

I am so proud of the contribution made by Orange Business to the Top Employer Global 2018 award. Thank you to all the teams who worked so hard inside Orange Business to achieve these certifications.  This independent recognition by the Top Employers Institute sends a compelling message that working for Orange is a unique experience, equal to the one we wish to give our customers. Our reputation as a Top Employer in key labor markets is a powerful differentiator, enabling Orange and Orange Business to attract and retain talented people with the right skills for tomorrow.  In a rapidly digitalized world, we provide a stimulating employee experience for those who are keen to develop and share their knowledge, ready to embrace new, more agile ways of working and engage actively in our collective work.

Patricia Waldron-Werner, Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources, Internal Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, Orange Business
