- YS::Desktop by Kerys is a sovereign, high-performance and secure solution that allows several work environments to coexist locally on a single device; solution already used by 20% of CAC 40 companies and several French ministries.
- Orange, with the Mission French Tech, to support Kerys accelerate its growth in France and across Europe by expanding use cases.
For large organisations, securing workstations for sensitive projects and data without undermining the user experience remains a real challenge. Traditional approaches, whether based on multiple devices or on VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), often force organisations to choose among security, performance and ease of use.
Kerys Software offers a new approach to secure virtualisation, enabling several work environments to run locally on a single device, seamlessly for the user and in full compliance with ANSSI recommendations.
Supporting the growth of French start-ups to strengthen digital sovereignty
As a sponsor of the French Tech 2030 class, Orange has structured its support around three growth drivers – buy, distribute and integrate – to not only give French start-ups and scale-ups visibility, but to ensure they are selected, tested and progressively deployed across the business ecosystem. These priorities form the basis of the initiative presented by Orange at VivaTech, alongside the Mission French Tech. The collaboration between Orange and Kerys Software is currently built around the following flagship projects:
- Pilot project to integrate YS::Desktop across several Group entities as part of the NIS2 Directive;
- Integration assessment for workplace solutions offered by Orange Business;
- Joint commercial initiatives targeting sensitive accounts, including ministries and banks, to encourage adoption of the technology in regulated sectors.
At its core, the challenge is simple: shorten the path from a promising technology to real adoption by major clients.
“To strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty, it is not enough to only showcase French start-ups. We must help them gain access to real use cases, major clients and the most demanding environments. That is exactly the purpose of the initiative led by Orange alongside the Mission French Tech, and Kerys Software is a very concrete example of that ambition,” said Emmanuel Cacheux, Chief Trust Officer at Orange Business.
The relationship between Orange and Kerys Software brings together market credibility, access to demanding client environments, concrete applications, and a shared commitment to European digital sovereignty. Orange provides the start-up with the backing of a trusted third party and a growth accelerator. Kerys Software brings a distinctive French technology at the crossroads of cybersecurity, performance and IT efficiency.
“With Orange, we share the same conviction: French solutions can meet the highest standards of security, performance and sovereignty — in France today, and tomorrow more broadly across Europe,” said Thomas Girard, Co-founder and CEO of Kerys Software. “This strategic collaboration gives us even more concrete access to the field, and the opportunity to embed a French technology in highly demanding client environments.”
