Transparency in Coverage Rule

(US Department of Health and Human Services, US Department of Labor and the US Department of the Treasury)

Effective 01 July 2022, the Transparency in Coverage Rule, issued in 2020 by the US Department of Health and Human Services, US Department of Labor and the US Department of the Treasury, requires employers with medical plans to publish machine readable files (MRFs), via link, for the medical plans in-network and out-of-network benefits on the Company’s public-facing website.

This link leads to the machine readable files that are made available in response to the Federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
