Simon Ranyard to lead the Nordic region

I'm pleased to share that Orange Business has appointed Simon Ranyard as the new managing director for the Nordic region, effective immediately.

Simon has 20 years of experience in the ICT industry and most recently held a leadership role for the European sales organization within the company. Simon joined Orange in 2005, and over the last 13 years, he has managed some of our largest customers along with building and managing sales teams focused on new logo acquisitions.

As head of the Nordic region, Simon will be responsible for growing our Nordic business, while ensuring that Orange Business is recognized as the trusted digital transformation partner for all of our customers. He will also support the smooth integration of recent acquisitions in the Nordic region, such as Basefarm, and build strong working relationships with our key technology partners.

"I'm really excited to take over the management of the Nordic region. The Nordic countries are home to some of the most forward-thinking companies in the world and are a constant source of technological innovations. It is an honor to work with those companies and with the great team that we have in the Nordics."

Simon Ranyard studied at Staffordshire University and obtained a BA (Hons) in International Relations. He will be relocating to Stockholm with his wife and two children.

Simon replaces Roger Söderberg, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.
