Orange Business has announced the appointment of Dr Patrick Sim as the Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific – effective immediately. In this role, Patrick will set the strategic direction of the business and drive growth across all market segments in the region, including ASEAN, China, Hong Kong, India, Australasia, Japan and Korea.
Patrick’s appointment is a step forward in the company’s strategy for global growth and the expansion of its international business. Patrick will lead Orange Business Service’s ambition to become the trusted partner for customers’ digital transformation in the Asia Pacific.

Patrick has been with Orange Business for the past eight years as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific. In this role, he worked closely with regional and country management teams to drive business growth and generate revenues from key business streams.
An industry veteran, Patrick has held several leadership roles in the past with Bridge Mobile, Nortel Networks, Oracle Corporation, and NEC Australia. Patrick is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPE) with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and was awarded several International Patents while at NEC Australia.
