Maersk selected Microsoft Teams as its company collaboration tool
"Maersk has selected Microsoft Teams as our company collaboration tool. However, we wanted to go beyond team chat and determine whether Microsoft Teams Phone System and a new service called Direct Routing would allow us to further enhance collaboration. We learned that Orange, our partner for communications services, was also working with Microsoft on this, so we engaged Orange to test making and receiving calls with their SIP trunking service across desktop and mobile devices. The configuration and deployment was simple and quickly executed. Overall, it was a successful, yet uneventful, pilot because everything went perfectly, with the voice quality being excellent.
