ISG Provider Lens™ Archetype Report

ISG recently published its ISG Provider Lens™ Archetype study on Software Defined Solutions and Service Partners 2020, examining the software-defined networking offerings and capabilities of more than 70 global providers. This report summarizes the relative capabilities of solutions and service providers and their ability to address the requirements of typical, frequently-encountered categories of enterprise buyers (archetypes). Each archetype represents a unique set of enterprise business and technological needs and challenges.

The four archetypes of typical buyer-side classifications addressed in this report were: conservative archetypes, moderate archetypes, aggressive adopter archetypes and bleeding edge archetypes.

 

Orange Business was recognized as a Leader to meet the Aggressive Adopter and Bleeding Edge buyer-type objectives as well as a key provider of capabilities within the Conservative and Moderate Archetypes. This global strategic report supports improved awareness, knowledge and decision making on the capabilities and positioning of IT, network and business service providers.

 

The ISG Provider Lens archetype study cites the new Orange strategy focused on SD networks and including co-innovation with Dell Technologies, together with AI orchestration and its NextGen Hub, taking into account the care of multi-vendor and multi-network type integration and management. Orange Business is identified as delivering managed and co-managed solutions as well as network transition from pure DIY to co-managed states.
