According to Gartner®, “the SIAM role is critical for managing integrated end-to-end value and delivery of traditional and cloud service providers. Sourcing, procurement and vendor management leaders can use this guide to identify SIAM service providers that align with their multisourcing strategy.”

Key Findings

  • The maturity of the traditional SIAM role is improving, yet both buyers and sellers have a different understanding about SIAM, which often is not very consistent. In addition, SIAM’s broad depth and breadth of the portfolio and an emerging market also make the assessment challenging
  • The adoption of SIAM has been increasing rapidly. The average percentage of adoption by clients is around 22% for the providers represented in this market guide, with a bias toward further adoption over the next three years
  • The expected business outcomes from SIAM services are service reliability, quality, operational efficiency, and reduced cost to serve, along with better governance, risk, compliance and control
  • Managed services environments are becoming complex, resulting in an increase in the number of providers and in an adoption of SIAM capabilities to meet more ecosystem product-centric services requirements

"Managing integrated end-to-end value and delivery of traditional and cloud service providers is a complex undertaking for companies adopting a multisourcing approach. In the latest Market Guide for Service Integration and Management Services, Gartner highlights the critical role a SIAM model (also called Multisourcing Service Integration or MSI) plays in that environment. We are very honored to be identified as one of the 10 MSI service providers that companies can refer to for their multisourcing strategy.

"As the adoption of the solution has increased and will continue in the coming years, the MSI role has evolved from the traditional setting towards a new hybrid operational model for IT organizations. It is very important that Gartner has recognized our expertise in integrating complex digital ecosystems for our customers, as well as acknowledged our broad range of capabilities. Our recent key innovations, including MSI for Mobility, MSI Platform Integration, MSI Essential and Service Manage – Watch, all help our customers manage integrated services and market specificities efficiently.

"With Multisourcing Service Integration (MSI) and the future evolutions of our solution, we intend to emphasize our support to sourcing, procurement and vendor management leaders at all stages of an MSI adoption, with a delivery model going from consulting to continuous improvement of the services. This will help our customers develop the operational model best suited to their internal organization and align with their overall strategy for multisourcing."
