CEO, Orange Business Services
Thierry Bonhomme was appointed CEO of Orange Business Services in May 2013, and since the 1st of March 2016 is also Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Orange. Thierry is responsible for business growth for the enterprise services division of Orange group across France and international markets. He also drives the new Orange vision to support the digital transformation for our enterprise customers.
Thierry has spent more than 30 years with the Orange Group in various leadership roles. Prior to his current role, Thierry was Executive Vice President of Networks, Carriers and Research & Development and in charge of R&D within the Orange Group. Previously he was responsible for the enterprise sales channel for the Orange Group in France.
Thierry returned to FT Group in 1990 as a Director of technical management for the Grenoble and Marseille regional areas after a brief stint of two years with Idate. His first role at Orange involved field work in networks, transmission & switching.
Thierry completed his engineering degree at the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST) in Paris.
Executive Vice President International, Orange Business Services
Helmut has over 20 years’ experience in enterprise markets and solutions. Prior to his appointment as Head of the International Business he was SVP Europe & Russia, CIS at Orange Business Services since he joined Orange in 2007.
Based in Vienna, Reisinger reports to Thierry Bonhomme, president and CEO of Orange Business Services and is a member of the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Orange Business Services, Helmut was vice president Western Europe at Avaya Inc. Before joining Avaya, Helmut was CEO of private equity owned NextiraOne Germany and a member of their European Executive Committee. Prior to that, Helmut also held several leadership positions during his nine-year tenure with Alcatel Austria with his last position being managing director of Alcatel’s enterprise activities in Austria.
A native of Austria, Helmut is a graduate of Vienna University for Economics and Business Administration, CEMS Masters Program at WU Wien with terms at Hochschule St Gallen and ESCCA Angers.

Senior VP, EMI, Orange Business Services
Philippe Koebel is responsible for the Sales & Marketing activities in the Middle-East & Africa regions, both recognised as fast-growing regions for Orange Business Services, as well as managing the Orange partnership with SITA (Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques), which we have extended until 2019.
Based near Paris, Philippe is a member of the Executive Operational Committee of Orange Business Services, as well as President of the Board for the company’s entities in Qatar and Egypt. In addition, Philippe is a member of the Administrative Board of Sofrecom, a subsidiary of the Orange Group.
Philippe, whose experience spans over 20 years with the Group, has held several B2B management positions, both in France and abroad. These include, CEO of a subsidiary, and a branch manager, followed by several regional and operational Director positions for Global One, Equant, and now Orange Business Services.
A French national, Philippe holds degrees from ‘Ecole Polytechnique’ and ‘Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications’ (Telecom Paristech).
Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey
Luc was recently appointed to lead the business in the region and is based in Dubai. Previously Luc led the SITA large and complex integration unit based in Geneva working with the air transport industry. Luc has over 25 years of experience in marketing and implementing IT solutions within the enterprise sector, focusing on strategic planning and people management responsibilities.
Luc has held various international business leadership roles with Equant and then Orange Business Services, including Head of Global Services Europe & Russia, Head of Professional Services APAC, and Head of Global Consulting.
Luc will provide leadership and develop business strategies in response to the wave of digital transformation that is changing the business landscape for enterprises, for government bodies and for service providers in the region. Through deployment of state-of-the-art ICT solutions from Orange Business Services, companies can harness the power of digital technologies to create new business models that capture new revenue streams and empower employees to achieve more. Luc will set out his vision of how these transformations can be delivered at Hello! World Dubai.
Luc holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) Lyon, France.

Taj is the Regional Vice President for Middle East and Africa at Riverbed Technology. His core responsibilities include expanding Riverbed's penetration in new markets and industry verticals, growing its regional footprint, deepening engagement with channel partners, and securing the company's position as a key technology provider for the hybrid enterprise. Having previously served as Riverbed's regional General Manager and subsequently its Managing Director, Taj set in motion Riverbed's aggressive expansion strategy and successfully enhanced synergy between the professional services, marketing, and technical, sales and channel teams.
Taj brings more than 16 years of regional sales, channel and executive management experience to Riverbed, and has played key roles in growing and scaling both emerging and Fortune 500 technology companies in the region. His prior experience includes senior leadership positions at Juniper, Microsoft, Compaq Computer Corporations and IBM in the Middle East and the United States.
Taj graduated from the Jones Graduate School of Business from Rice University, whilst an undergraduate at the University of Houston.
Toros Emre Esim
Toros is a seasoned executive with progressive management expertise in the ICT sector.
He has led numerous projects and participated in delivery execution in the region encompassing group strategy development and organizational capacity development, new product and service launches, business model design and process streamlining and business transformation.
Toros specialises in emerging technology implementation and organizational capacity development,
analysis and execution on new engagement and business models and customer oriented innovation management.
He served as managing director of an independent consultant firm prior to joining Orange, and he has served as global marketing and product management executive in various international firms.
Toros has a MA in International Business Management, MS in Management Information Systems, MBA focusing on Finance and Marketing and ABD in Operations Research from University of Texas.

Isabelle Lurquin has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications B2B market in key accounts and sales management, indirect sales, business development and marketing. Her career in International Telecommunication, includes management positions at France Cable & Radio (satellite business), Transpac (data & voice networks, messaging and contact centers), Global One and Orange Business Services.
Isabelle has been working for Orange Business Services Emerging Markets & Indirect region since September 2011. This region includes the geographies of Middle East, Turkey and Africa, as well as the indirect business with SITA, the Orange Business Services’ channel to the Air Transport Industry. Today, Isabelle leads the Sales, Marketing & Communication and the Solutions functions which includes pre-sales, business development and consulting.
Prior to 2011, Isabelle spent 6 years in the Orange Large Accounts Division as Director of International Business Development. Her team supported 80 of the largest Orange multinational clients in their efforts with worldwide expansion and drove the Division’s international revenue growth.
During the course of her international career, Isabelle has gained a specific knowledge of Asian and European markets and, since 2011, of the Middle East and Africa markets.
A French national, Isabelle holds master degrees in International Politics (International Politics Institute, Paris) and International Business Management from La Sorbonne University, Paris and speaks French, English and Spanish.
Isabelle likes to be involved in philanthropic activities such as coaching underprivileged young students and helping young professionals to come onboard in the business world. She has also been involved in humanitarian programs in Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin.
Mert Oruz, CIO Arkas
Mert Oruz was born in 1974. He went on to the Middle East Technical University to study computer engineering. In 1996, he started to work as a software engineer in Sepiciler Holding, where he also took office as the Computing Chief and Information Systems Manager respectively.
He then transferred to Teba Group, where he worked as the Information Systems Manager between 2000 and 2003. In 2004, he started to work as the Customer Relations Manager in Bimar, an Arkas Group company operating in the information technologies sector. Oruz has been working in Arkas as the CIO since 2008.
Having participated in several CIO events in Turkey, Mert Oruz was named the “CIO of the Year Award”, at the award ceremonies held in collaboration by IDG and Dunya Newspaper in 2010 and 2013, and by TUBIYAD in 2011.
Moreover, Oruz gives speeches at universities on the information technologies’ effects on the business life cycle.
Mert Oruz, also the Department Manager and Board Member of Arkas Spor, is a sailing enthusiast and participates in yacht races in Turkey as a professional racer.
He is married with one son.
Paul Murphy is the Vice President Sales for SITA covering Sub-Sahara Africa, Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE.
Paul’s 28-year career has spanned the aviation, telecom and financial sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Paul is passionate about aviation and has gained in-depth expertise working in the airport and airline sectors.
Paul has extensive managerial experience with an innovative and collaborative style. His core responsibility is client sales and relationship management, driving profitable growth, while ensuring customers gain the most value from SITA’s broad portfolio.
In heading the SITA Dubai office and as a member of the SITA Middle East, India and Africa management team, Paul plays a key role in strengthening SITA’s position in the aviation community in the region.
Paul joined SITA in 2005 and previously held senior IT management roles at Emirates Airline. He has been based in Dubai, UAE for the past 19 years.
Kris has 17 years IT experience in the Maritime industry with United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) and Topaz Energy and Marine and has led several regional IT teams in Europe, and West Africa as well as heading service operation globally. Since 2015 Kris has been the Head of IT for Topaz Energy and Marine responsible for the development, implementation, and use of technology shoreside and offshore.
