Orange Business Services sets up in Vietnam to enhance ICT services to multinational and government sector clients

Orange Business Services, the enterprise division of the Orange France Telecom
Group
1, announced today the setting up of direct sales & marketing operations
in Vietnam in line with the division’s strategy for business growth in the Asia
Pacific Region.
While Orange Business Services’ operations have been present in Vietnam for more
than 30 years, the new sales and marketing entity, Orange Business (Vietnam),
Co. Limited, will address the information and communication technology needs of
local and global multinational enterprises as well as public sector organizations
in the country. Orange Business (Vietnam)’s offerings will include systems integration,
consultancy and project management as well as field engineering and maintenance
services.
Orange Business (Vietnam) will be headed by Charles Kennaway, General Manager
for Orange Business Services in ASEAN.

Orange Business Services is the first global operator to provide MPLS-based IP
VPN services in Vietnam and already enjoys a long-established relationship with
Vietnam Datacommunication Company to deliver sophisticated integrated communications
services.
The availability of MPLS-based IP VPN services enables enterprises in Vietnam
to consolidate their voice, data and application traffic on a single network,
improving efficiency and enhancing business performance. Orange Business Services
is currently servicing over 120 MNC customers, many with multiple connections,
from various industry verticals such as airline, banking, government, manufacturing,
resources and logistics. It is also a provider to the government sector.
