versatile and secure SWIFT solutions
The SWIFT infrastructure is the cornerstone of international finance. It allows banks, other financial institutions and corporates to make payments and other secured transactions irrespective of which country the two parties are located. Because it is a key part of international trade, the key drivers for SWIFT are reliability, risk management and cost control.
connectivity, consultancy and integration
As an accredited SWIFT network partner, we bring together versatile and secure solutions that are easy to implement and use. Our SWIFT solutions include connectivity, consultancy and integration services:
- full range of SWIFT connectivity services
With our extensive portfolio of IP-based network services, including the industry’s leading MPLS-based IP VPN service, we offer a full range of SWIFT connectivity packs, from fully dedicated leased lines to DSL-based connections, so you can connect all your offices with an adaptive network that’s as flexible as you need it to be. Our solutions are fully compatible with TARGET2 and SEPA architecture.
- comprehensive consultancy
We can help you choose the best connectivity solution with our in-depth knowledge of telecommunications and SWIFT VPN Alliance packages.
- seamlessly integrated with your IT infrastructure
We help you seamlessly integrate your internal systems so all your offices, including branches, can operate with ease. We ensure that all your applications, including SAP, Oracle® Database 10g, Siebel® CRM and telephony, perform efficiently and reliably. And because interconnections are provided within a core IP network, upgrading site connections to meet new requirements is fast and easy.
As the largest network provider for SWIFT, we have the widest reach and geographical coverage. Because we offer an end-to-end service for SWIFT members, we can guarantee the performance of all messages across our network. That way you can be sure that you make your transaction when you want to, without any danger of network delay.
SWIFT payments are administered by a cooperative of financial stakeholders called the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). As a data carrier, SWIFT transports messages between two financial institutions, which involve the secure exchange of proprietary data, while ensuring standardization, confidentiality and integrity.
SWIFT has more than 10,000 members, spread across over 212 countries and processes 4 billion messages a year (2012). Of the 17.5 million messages sent on average each day, half of the traffic is made up of payments, 42% of securities, 7% in treasury payments and 1% is trade. As one of only four accredited network partners, we have been working with SWIFT for 15 years. Orange Business Services connects over 1,200 organizations on all continents in a reliable way to SWIFTnet.
