High data security requirements in a fast-paced healthcare sector

Aurora Innovation needed a cloud solution that met the stringent data security requirements of the healthcare sector, while supporting healthcare professionals in their busy workday.

The objectives of the co-operation

Ensuring data sovereignty for patient data
Improving the working environment for healthcare workers
Create a flexible and future-proof IT operation

A secure cloud solution that improves patient contact and workflow in the healthcare sector.

A great cloud solution built for healthcare

Orange Business delivered a Self-Service Sovereign Cloud solution that ensures that all data is stored locally in Sweden, in accordance with national laws and regulations.

The solution is based on VMware Cloud Director and gives Aurora Innovation the flexibility to configure its own virtual machines, storage and networking via a user-friendly self-service portal. Orange Business also offers managed add-on services for database and security.

For Aurora Innovation, it was equally important to have a partner that could offer close collaboration. Orange Business was chosen for its understanding of the healthcare sector's requirements and for its solution-orientated approach.

Better patient experience and safer working day for healthcare professionals

Aurora Innovation can now offer healthcare professionals a robust and secure platform that manages millions of patient contacts daily. This provides better patient experiences, increased data security and a more balanced work environment for staff. The service also enables smarter resource planning and better capacity utilisation.
