Orange Business Services named a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Global WAN Services,
Q2 2007, published in June 2007 by Forrester Research Inc., an independent research
firm.
Using Forrester’s weightings, Orange Business Services has the highest current
offering score, leading nine major international network operators providing global
wide area network (GWAN) services to large multinational corporations. Forrester
evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the providers across 33 criteria grouped
into three high-level categories: current offering, strategy and market presence.
"Orange’s strong overall current offering includes one of the broadest GWAN services
and, for the most countries, the most comprehensive access options of all the
providers evaluated," noted Brownlee Thomas, Ph.D., in The Forrester Wave™: Global
WAN Services, Q2 2007. "Orange also has the strongest overall value proposition
for global companies with operations that span multiple geographic regions.”
"Since the last GWAN Forrester Wave™ in 2005, we maintained our position as a
leader by providing our customers simple, flexible yet comprehensive business
communications solutions," said Axel Haentjens, vice president, Marketing, Orange
Business Services. “The results of this survey especially reflect strengths in
our value proposition and customer base. Our capabilities in managing complexity
and deploying advanced communication solutions on a global basis enable customers
to compete more effectively, to bring new services and solutions to market more
swiftly and to simplify their global presence."
