secure my device is a modular security solution designed to address the specific issues faced with the management of mobile and remote PC devices: security management, supervision and control. secure my device is a custom made solution that is tailored to address the issues faced when trying to maintain the compliance and security of your mobile and remote workforce. This product covers many security requirements from patch management to a complete security software suite depending on your requirements.
secure my device lets your administrator manage, supervise and control the rules and the policies for each device. Your administrator only has to deploy the lightweight software agent on the device, there is no dedicated infrastructure deployment required (management console server hosted by Orange).
When installed on your PC devices, the secure my device agent is intelligently monitoring the devices according to the options, the rules and the policies that you have defined from the console.
The secure my device agent will :
- download patches
- updates with bandwidth control
- and download-resume capabilities improving the installation success while avoiding device unresponsiveness.
monitoring, reporting near real-time
Through the integration of BigFix technologies, the device status is constantly reported to the Orange hosted servers where
you get, through your console, monitoring and reporting in standard and customized
forms (tables, graphics or 3D visualization tool). The service options are designed
to address the most frequent security issues, unsecured, un-patched or vulnerable
systems, with full control and near real-time visibility.

The following options have been created to complete and to consolidate your existing
security:
- compliance and patch – this key option ensures visibility and control over the top SANS vulnerabilities and Microsoft Windows patches,
- security software continuous compliance - ensures continuous update of major third-party anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall software with real-time feedback on their deployment and their status,
- anti-virus / anti-spyware option - as you might be missing anti-virus/anti-spyware and/or firewall licenses, secure my device lets you add these options as needed to complement your device security anti-virus and/or anti-spyware solution,
- personal firewall option - personal firewall with auto-location policies (firewall policies are set according to the detected network: Internet or Intranet),
- enforcement and remediation option - If you want an end-point based NAC (Network Access Control) with central management, we offer the “enforcement and remediation” option (Please note that it requires anti-virus/anti-spyware and firewall options from Orange described above). Relying on the product suite for anti-virus, anti-spyware and personal firewall, you enforce the security of your Windows devices with auto-location policies and device quarantine while ensuring patching and updates to restore service to the user as required.
Designed for mobility, secure my device also offers a unique option to deploy and to update the Business Everywhere solution. A specific attention has been drawn to the interoperability and the
integration with Business Everywhere.
