Business Talk Mobile Access

business challenge

In most organizations, mobile telephony makes up a significant and growing proportion of overall communications costs. International calling from mobile phones is a particular concern for multinationals whose employees need to make these calls from their mobile phones, not just their desk phones. To prevent mobile spending from spiraling out of control, it is vital to have a solution that both gives you visibility and helps you reduce overall costs.

our solution

Orange has developed Business Talk Mobile Access to meet this business need. It allows you to use the Orange voice network to carry the international calls you make from your mobile phones. End users just dial their calls like they always do, and they are routed via the Orange Business Talk network to their international destinations. This is one of our fixed-mobile convergence services that bring together the benefits of both worlds.

our approach

The service is accessed with specialized software that is installed via SMS to your users’ smartphones. When they dial an international number, the phone recognizes it and routes the call to an Orange point of presence in the country from which they are calling. We then carry the call internationally, charging far less than the mobile carrier would. We also provide you with detailed usage reporting so you have clear visibility on the service’s use.

the result

Rapid and simple deployment means you can start using Business Talk Mobile Access immediately. Access to the service is transparent to users, and they can keep their existing handsets and calling routines.

business benefits

Business Talk Mobile Access cuts the cost of international calling for mobile phones, while centralized usage reporting gives you visibility and better control. This leads to significant reduction in communications costs. Your end users are also able to use their mobiles without fear of incurring large costs, allowing them to remain effective when on the move.
