Dalton Caldwell of app.net

Dalton Caldwell is the founder of app.net, a social media service that is somewhat unique in that it has no ads and doesn't sell your data. Instead he is relying on a subscription model to make his business sustainable. Are we so fed up with targeted advertising and big corporations harvesting and selling our data that the subscription model can work? Dalton thinks so and I agree. Watch the video, it's an interesting if short discussion about the sustainability of modern media.
