what our customers say

Andrey Kosenko, IT manager
“Orange Business Services is the main telecommunications partner of DANONE Group. Orange Business VPN enables us to operate all corporate applications within our unified network, including telephony and audio -and videoconferences both for company users and external partners. The sales automation project with the use of mobile devices implemented by Orange for our company included providing secure remote access to the corporate network.”

Maxim Stonozhenko, Deputy CIO
“Orange Business Services implemented our corporate VPN using its satellite infrastructure for 30 remote timber cutting plants in Arkhangelsk and Irkutsk regions. The services provide Internet access to the Group’s offices independently from the telecommunications infrastructure and promptly transfer information on operations results to the central office of the Group. Services from the complete voice package of Orange Business Services, including the corporate internal network and long-distance calling, enable Ilim Group to take advantage of having a single provider and the complete range of services offered.”

Vasiliy Pachkoriya, Customer Services Manager of British American Tobacco Group Service Delivery (BAT GSD) in Russia
.In 2006, Orange deployed network connections to a total 105 sites in just 10 months for this tobacco giant, despite the constraints and challenges of Russia's communication infrastructure. Seventy-one of the sites are connected with iDirect satellite broadband. The network supports services such as video conferencing, mobile access to centralized applications, and fixed and mobile telephony. Vasiliy Pachkoriya, Customer Services Manager of British American Tobacco Group Service Delivery (BAT GSD) in Russia explains, “We were very concerned about meeting the project deadlines, since larger projects depended on the rollout of this VPN. Given these challenges, Orange delivered network connections to the first 85 locations (go-live) in just seven months."

Sergey Burtsev, IT Manager
Alcoa is the world's leading producer and manager of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum and alumina facilities. Alcoa Russia has been an Orange Business Services customer since 2005, with a VPN as the first service delivered. In 2007, Orange Business Services provided 6,000 end-users of the Alcoa divisions in Samara and Belaya Kalitva with a single VoIP system built on Avaya technologies. Later, Orange Business Services also began providing long-distance calling and audio conferencing. The implementation of a fully integrated VoIP solution allows Alcoa Russia to improve the delivered quality in combination with a lower cost. It also allowed the 6,000 Alcoa Russia employers to be easily integrated within the unified corporate telephone numbering plan which is using in all countries of Alcoa presence. “The large service product portfolio of Orange Business Services has supported Alcoa’s business expansion in Russia. Within the project (providing 6,000 end-users of the Alcoa divisions in Samara and Belaya Kalitva with a unified VoIP system) Orange Business Services responded to the key demands of Alcoa – end-to-end project management and one-stop shopping for both IT and telecoms services."
