Orange launches in Russia a Cloud Solution for Unified Communications Based on Cisco HCS

January 13, 2015, Moscow, Russia

Orange Business Services is introducing Business Together as a Service, a unified communication solution designed to enable an innovative way of working and collaborating. Business Together as a Service allows Unified Communications solutions to be offered via the cloud, using an «as a service» model that allows enterprises to quickly and cost-effectively access communication and collaboration tools any time, anywhere, on any device. The service has been deployed based on several data centers owned by Orange, including those in Frankfurt, Atlanta, and Singapore. Business Together as a Service is based on a Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution platform and has already been highly appraised by the global customers of Orange such as Xerox General Services, 3M and others.

Business Together as a Service is a user-friendly and economic solution for any IT Department, and at the same time it offers corporate employees new and efficient operating tools. In addition to basic telephony, the solution also features collaboration tools (instant messages, presence system, audio, web and videoconferencing, etc.) As the solution is cloud-based, users may use it anywhere and from any device, including tablets and smartphones. Orange enables customers to access Business Together as a Service through IP VPN in a highly secure fashion, ensuring that each customer's usage is private. Additionally, customers «pay as they go», only pay for the applications their employees use, and they do not have to expend CAPEX or internal resources.

Through an easy-to-use portal developed by Orange experts companies can select from five pre-set profiles to match different employee group needs and change the number of end user accounts up or down quickly and easily. This level of agility and flexibility allows companies to quickly open new offices, integrate a newly-acquired company or react to changing business needs.

Orange Business Services has been featured among the Leaders in the recent edition of the analytical company Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Multiregional for its Business Together as a Service solution.

Orange Business Services, a global leader in communication and IT solutions and a global service provider, has become the first service provider to release a solution based on the Сisco HCS platform.
