Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions, the leader in voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for the trading communities, today announced that it has won the Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Award for IP Network. The Leaders in Innovation Awards identify global transaction banks and financial hardware and software providers that in the last 12 months have excelled, in terms of innovation in business solutions. Shortlisted companies were selected based on research conducted by Financial-i's team of journalists as well as feedback received from the awards advisory panel, which included industry analysts, consultants and practitioners.
The award reflects the growth of Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions’ TCSnet, its global MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) trading network, which facilitates trading between counterparties and enables financial services firms to gain access to all of the world’s major financial hubs. It is a highly secure financial transaction platform that delivers critical real-time trading applications and SIP based capabilities, significantly cuts latency and meets the demanding service requirements of financial market participants through switching speed, traffic engineering and convergence. In just under two years since launching TCSnet to the global financial community, the trading dedicated network continues to expand day by day.
