Carlos Sartorius appointed Chief Operating Officer at Orange Business Services

Orange Business Services named Carlos Sartorius as its chief operating officer.
Carlos Sartorius brings 20-plus years experience in business management, sales,
program management, marketing, and large project implementation with an emphasis
on developing markets and establishing sales strategies. In addition, he has cross-functional
international leadership experience in telecommunications and is skilled in global
business practices and protocols.
Based out of our Slough office in the U.K., Carlos reports to Barbara Dalibard,
president and CEO of Orange Business Services, and is a member of the Executive
Committee. Sartorius will manage the transversal activities of Orange Business
Services: strategy, partnership, services transformation and information technology
& systems.

Previously, Carlos was president at Avaya for Europe, Middle-East & Africa (EMEA).
He supported the development of Avaya’s overall business in EMEA and led the organization
to support customers’ migration to IP telephony and the next phases of incorporating
Intelligent Communications into their businesses. Prior to Avaya, Carlos was vice
president and general manager for Motorola's Government & Enterprise Mobility
Solutions business, leading operations for its EMEA region and having worldwide
responsibility for product management, development and support for the TETRA digital
platform.

Carlos Sartorius takes over the COO duties from Hervé Kauffmann who now heads
Global Communication Solutions for Orange Business Services.
