Orange Business Services wins Financial-i magazine’s Leaders in Innovation Award for Voice over IP solution on trading floors
Paris, Feb. 7, 2008
Orange Business Services Trading Solutions, a division of Orange Business Services
specializing in unified communications solutions for the trading community, won
the Voice over IP category of the 2007 Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Awards
for its Etrali Voice Platform for the second consecutive time.
Etrali Voice Platform, from Orange Business Services Trading Solutions and previously
called Etradeal, pioneered voice over IP on the trading floor. With this year’s
release of V36, this service enables trading floor mobility allowing traders to
use any workspace and quickly configure a turret to their preferences.
The Leaders in Innovation Awards recognize vendors shaping the delivery of business solutions in the wholesale
transaction banking space. Winners were chosen based on solutions that are cost
effective, help solve common business issues (STP, integration across data and
application silos, regulatory compliance, reduced latency), are less time consuming
to implement, enhance overall efficiency and facilitate enhanced bank to customer
communication.
“Leaders in Innovation are about recognizing those companies with an ongoing commitment to innovation,”
Anita Hawser, managing editor, Financial-i. “So although companies may have been
judged innovation leaders in our inaugural awards last year, what we were looking
for this year is companies that built on previous innovations to stay ahead of
their competitors.”
The Etrali Voice Platform provides automated international dialing from any location
and enhanced conferencing capabilities to meet the needs of globalized operations
by enabling conferencing between multiple sites. Every turret comes with languages
embedded, including: English and Arabic, French, German, Greek and Japanese.
Traders can configure any workstation to their own settings within minutes, using
the proven Etrali touch-screen technology. With its Unify offering, Orange Business
Services Trading Solutions also enables traders to easily switch between different
communication devices.
“We are very pleased to be recognized again by Financial-i as an innovator in
the industry,” said Pierre-Louis de Guillebon, CEO, Orange Business Services Trading
Solutions. “We understand the unique business needs of our customers and are committed
to developing and innovating our leading-edge solutions to meet those needs.”
