Integrated Access provides Orange Business customers lower-cost hybrid network

three network accesses can share Ethernet Local Loop

As the leading global provider of Ethernet Services, Orange Business offers multiservice Ethernet access through the Integrated Access option to its International Ethernet Link customers. Integrated Access allows companies to optimize network access costs and complete their architecture with hybrid solutions. According to the Vertical Systems Group’s Full-Year 2010 Global Provider Leaderboard, Orange Business is the Ethernet Services global leader for the second consecutive year.

Businesses of all sizes are becoming increasingly dependent on Ethernet to provide a high-bandwidth, multipoint network connecting geographically dispersed locations. By mutualizing the Ethernet Local Loop between three network accesses from Orange Business – International Ethernet Link, IP VPN and Internet Direct – Integrated Access provides companies a way to control costs while enabling better, more efficient data sharing and collaboration.

Orange Business offers International Ethernet Link, its Ethernet offer for large MNC customers in 40 countries and Ethernet access to IP-based VPN in 52 countries and extending to 62 during the second quarter of 2011. The France Telecom-Orange Group continues investing in Ethernet with a goal of providing 100Mb-10G/s Ethernet access worldwide for our strategic customer sites.

“Orange Business recognizes very high-speed broadband as a key growth area,” said Marc Blanchet, senior vice president of Global Communications Solutions, Orange Business. “We have customers already benefiting from Integrated Access which allows them to benefit from a robust, resilient network using different technologies in order to achieve the optimal balance between cost and performance.”
