Since the creation of our company in 1965, we’ve been leading the industry with new products and smart technologies. In 1986, we were the first to introduce touch screens and soft keys to our turrets, so traders could take advantage of the most intuitive interfaces available. In 1992, we brought quality of service to our trading floor voice network before anyone else. And since 1997, when the business was acquired by France Telecom, our research and development teams have gone from strength to strength.
We pioneered Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) in 2001, and introduced the first bimodal IP and TDM turret in 2005. The company took a significant step in 2006 when we became Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions. We immediately began to benefit from the research support of the wider Orange Group and one year later, we rolled out the largest IP trading floor outside the United States, with more than 1,000 seats.
We’re committed to maintaining our leading position. In 2009, we embarked on one of our greatest technological achievements to date, rolling out a global MPLS network that will provide our customers with ultra-low latency connectivity to trading venues across the world.
