Secure Mobile Pass complements the Business Everywhere suite of mobility solutions for corporate PC but cover also all range of devices that can access to the Internet, from corporate laptops to unmanaged devices (Home computers, Internet kiosk, guest PC).
Traditionally, remote and secure access to corporate applications requires software
to be installed on the mobile device. With secure mobile pass based on SSL VPNs
it is clientless and you have more granular control over the user access to the
web-enabled applications via a standard web browser. The remote worker can access
his Intranet from any location through a web browser using SSL capability. No
software to be installed on devices means no deployment issue for the IT Manager.
The SSL gateway is managed by Orange Business Services, offering an end to end
service and mitigate risks from non trusted sources (home PCs,?), upgrade at low
cost and apply customer security policy with good reporting.
