Orange Business Services Trading Solutions, a division of Orange specializing in unified communications solutions for the trading community, won the Voice over IP category of the 2007 Financial-i Leaders in Innovation Awards for its Etrali Voice Platform for the second consecutive time. Etrali Voice Platform, from Orange Business Services Trading Solutions and previously called Etradeal, pioneered voice over IP on the trading floor. With this year’s release of V36, this service enables trading floor mobility allowing traders to use any workspace and quickly configure a turret to their preferences. “Leaders in Innovation are about recognizing those companies with an ongoing commitment to innovation,” said Anita Hawser, managing editor, Financial-i. “So although companies may have been judged innovation leaders in our inaugural awards last year, what we were looking for this year is companies that built on previous innovations to stay ahead of their competitors.”
