We have been in Turkey since 1996. Orange Business Services Turkey established the first and the former Turkish National Internet Backbone called TURNET in three cities in 1996 and operated it for two years with a revenue-sharing agreement with Turkish Telecom.

We now provide local IP, VPN, Frame Relay, X 25, Integration and Managed Services and IP/ VSAT services to more than a hundred local customers, including ISPs, universities, banks, brokerage firms as well as international and multinational companies in Turkey.

Orange Business Services is also a National IXP with the other ISP peerings and carries over 60% of the Internet traffic of the ISPs and universities in Turkey and Cyprus to the Internet backbones in the USA and in Europe via three satellites, namely Intelsat, Orion and Turksat.
