Cisco

Cisco enables people to make powerful connections-whether in business, education, philanthropy, or creativity.
Cisco hardware, software, and service offerings are used to create the Internet solutions that make networks possible-providing easy access to information anywhere, at any time. Cisco was founded in 1984 by a small group of computer scientists from Stanford University. Since the company's inception, Cisco engineers have been leaders in the development of Internet Protocol (IP)-based networking technologies.

Today, with more than 67,647 employees worldwide, this tradition of innovation continues with industry-leading products and solutions in the company's core development areas of routing and switching, as well as in advanced technologies, such as IP Communications, network security, wireless LAN, storage area networking, home networking, video systems, and application networking services.

TelePresence

In November 2008, Orange met all ATP (Advanced Technology provider) program requirements and criteria necessary to earn the designation of Cisco ATP - Cisco TelePresence Global partner. Today, Orange is one of only two partners to achieve the ATP Global TelePresence certification.

We completed a much focused effort to increase the level of Cisco sales and support capabilities within our organization. We have met the rigorous Cisco certified personnel levels required for an ATP - Cisco TelePresence Global partner. We have approximately 115 certified people worldwide in the TelePresence area. This helps ensure that our sales and support organizations are better prepared to properly sell, design, install, and support the ATP program specific technology and products.

Orange Business Services has partnered with Cisco for more than 15 years to provide world-class IP solutions’ for global enterprises. Our network is Cisco’s largest Cisco Powered Program (CPP) extending to 220 countries. For more information on the Cisco Powered Program, click here.

In 2007, Orange achieved Cisco Global Certification. Orange is one of only four Cisco partners to achieve Cisco Global Certification. This means we have the expertise and resources to plan, design, implement and operate Cisco networking solutions across the globe. This global certification demonstrates that we have met rigorous standards for networking competency, service and support, and customer satisfaction. It also demonstrates the technical expertise and product knowledge to deliver and support leading-edge Cisco solutions. Most important, the global certification recognizes the significant investment in capabilities to continue serving and satisfying customers in countries and regions around the world.

Becoming a Global Certified Partner further strengthens our credibility with our customers and our relationship with Cisco, giving us access to a wealth of programs and support services. In addition, we will be recognized and promoted for this certification level and accompanying specializations on the Cisco Partner Locator tool, the first stop for many customers seeking to do business with a Cisco Certified Partner.

In addition, Cisco chose Orange as one of four highly-qualified strategic partners to be a Global Services Alliance (GSA) partner because of our ability to provide:

  • lifecycle services - from business case to deployment, through operations and continual performance improvement

  • consistent global services delivery

  • collaborative services, which bring together the complementary strengths of Cisco and Orange

  • streamlined business processes to simplify service delivery

The first service from the Cisco alliance is “Maintenance with Cisco Services” - an enhanced support service for all Cisco equipment ensuring consistent and effective IT support throughout the network lifecycle.

Orange is the only service provider to hold both Cisco Global Certification, in addition to being a Global Services Alliance (GSA) partner. This places us in a unique relationship with Cisco as the only Service Provider with full WAN / LAN suite of services to be recognized in both programs!

This unique positioning with Cisco enables Orange to deliver integration services and network services with a footprint and portfolio no other partner can match.
