Can we give up flying around the world to hold meetings? Can telepresence and virtual meetings ever do the same job as actually being there face to face?

The answer is no - virtual meetings will never truly match actually being there. However, after spending some time with David Stirling and guys at Polycom, I'm convinced that virtual meeting technology is now mature enough to get very close to matching the feel and essence of a face to face meeting.
