Orange Business appoints Lorenzo Romano to lead UK and Ireland business

  • Replaces Rob Willcock who takes on new role in the Americas

Orange Business has appointed Lorenzo Romano as the new managing director for UK and Ireland, effective immediately. He replaces Rob Willcock, who has been appointed senior vice president of the Americas region.

Lorenzo is now responsible for the growth of the UK and Ireland business, while ensuring Orange Business is recognised as the trusted digital transformation partner for all of its customers.

Lorenzo joined Orange Business in 2011 as sales and marketing director for the UK and Ireland. During this six-year period, he has focused the sales teams on driving new revenue growth across the strategic services portfolio and acquired a number of high-profile customers. Prior to joining Orange Business, Lorenzo spent 14 years at Verizon where he held sales management roles in the international business.

“We are very pleased to have Lorenzo take on this critical role in one of our fastest growing markets across Europe and home to some of our most prestigious global customers,” said Dr. Helmut Reisinger, executive vice president, International for Orange Business.

“I am delighted to take over the reins, heading our UK and Ireland business, having worked hands-on for several years with our multinational customers. It’s an honour to lead our team and help guide our customers with their digital transformations,” said Lorenzo Romano, managing director, UK and Ireland for Orange Business.
